Weather & What to Pack
May in Melbourne typically brings mild autumn weather with morning temperatures ranging from 8-15°C. Expect cool conditions at the 6:45am start, warming slightly as the sun rises. Humidity is generally moderate, and there's a possibility of light rain. Dress in layers with moisture-wicking running gear - long sleeves or a lightweight jacket are recommended for the start. The cooler temperatures are ideal for half marathon performance, but stay hydrated throughout the race. Check the forecast in the days leading up to the event.
